Now I've officially graduated from secondary school. Next is time to submit exam results to Tartu University and waiting for the final results.
Graduation day went better than expected. I'm quite content and proud too. Considering I had sewn the dress and petticoat myself. Not only that, I did my hair and make up, choose my shoes and various accessories. The result is just ah~
Now to pictures, which are done by Ingrid.
At home here. Dress still not visible.
Finally full view of the dress.
A close-up of my hair.
Wall of my room. :'D
Time to plant a tree. It's an elm by the way.
Still planting the tree.
Heave-ho!
Almost there.
Nearly like an umbrella only not really.
Wholly the day was quite nice. Waking up early when I had gone to sleep at 2 in the morning the previous night as I had been finishing up my dress and decided to quickly sew a second petticoat. But not uploading pictures of that right now. Then as I was preparing myself in the morning suddenly getting told by my dad that I am supposed to plant a tree on that day.
Had to be at Kannel at least 15 minutes before everything started. Got there early enough. Then the ceremony, going to stage for a moment like everyone else. And then the masses of people in the foyer. Thanks weather.... It was really difficult to move around there.... And then imagine little me with all these balloons. Heh. But I found my friends there nevertheless. Ingrid and Kaili came to eat hang around my place afterwards.
The day ended with going to our class' graduation party. It was okay, I guess. Nothing bad happened and I got home just fine.
I am the most proud over my dress though. I didn't actually have patterns for it so I took a shirt pattern as a base and transformed it until it worked as a dress. A dress that I wanted to make. The only thing for what I really looked up a tutorial was the petticoat.

That's how I had planned it to look.
And then sewing everything by myself. With an old sewing machine. By old I mean old. It isn't an electrical sewing machine so... lots of work. Took me a bit more than a week... I did get distracted a few times but... I really did ignore my computer that slow thing the whole time. That meant not talking to Alex. God... I missed talking to him sooooooo much. s;dflsakfkdsjgdksljas;slfksfdfIlovehimlots. I am happy that I am not so busy anymore.
That's all for now.
