Lookie What I Found

Nothing all too exciting has been happening really. Just corporation life. Usual dance classes and school stuff. Well, I guess the pancake night on Wednesday was something interesting and hanging around with Vootele that one time. That is all pretty much.

And that pokemon drink was discovered yesterday when me and Karen were at a store next to my dorm after our Japanese class. It's like, really now? A pokemon drink. Out of curiosity I bought one. It doesn't taste bad but when looking at the ingredients it has a lot of chemical stuff in it. Not buying it a second time though, hah.

Nothing Much

I like interpretation. I just... reached that conclusion while in a German class today.

Also, life is exhausting. Going to home on Friday and seeing dad before my parents go off to Italy for a week. Oh well... I just sit here and work on my paper and ignore my other homeworks... whoops...

Going at My Leisure Pace

Nothing much has been going on. Nothing special anyway. There is a new semester again and I am sort of on track with what is going on in my classes. (Besides Latin, Latin just confuses me... a lot... )

Also corporation is keeping me decently busy. Like dancing classes and meetings and what not. In addition working on writing a reported speech. (So online dictionaries tell me...) My topic is geishas. And I've got 4 books to work with and read through, haha.

Something that is making me excited though, is that I am able to move to an apartment within a month. Even better is that I get to move in with Kaili. The joys. Real, real joys. And the amusement that will be getting all my stuff from one place to the other. Haha.

Weird Week

Seriously, the beginning of the week was sort of weird. From my point of view that is. Reasoning can disappear when the fever is high enough and that made just a miserable mass out of me who had a total foul mood and was not the nicest all the time. Add in being scared about several things and feelings of guilt. And then I had enough of everything and went home on Wednesday while still being sick.

But when Saturday came around, I felt better again. Especially as I was having my birthday party and had my friends come over. They are just awesome and I really love spending time with them so much. We played stepmania, watched Redline, held meaningful discussions, went to the sauna. Also, I got awesome presents. A DVD I wanted (from Estonian comedians yessssss ), tightssss (apparently I have a tight fetish... hmm... I guess I do. ) and these umm... money cupon things or whatever they are called. Anyway, one is for a fabric store and the other for Kaubamaja. They will so come in handy at some point. Oh, I made all the food for the party. The salad, potatoes and cake. Omnomnom. Ahem.

Also, I am single now but I won't elaborate further on this topic. Not on a public blog, heh. I must say it feels weird after such a long time.

Now I am back in Tartu and feeling confused as I've got to catch up with the classes I've missed and oh god...  I won't be giving up with Japanese this semester!!!

I've Gotten Sick

As the title says I'm sick which has pretty much resulted me in not being in a too good mood. Because of that nothing much has happened either.

The party on Sunday was rather interesting and fun though. I enjoyed it.

It Was My Birtday

So it was my birthday today. I am rather enjoying how my day turned out.
At first, it was difficult to get out of bed and to wake up properly. I tried waking up as early I managed (I had gotten home like at 3 at night the previous day) or I wouldn't be getting anything done. That would be no good though.

So sometime before noon I got a call from Gato to hang out together as she was back in Tartu. In an hour and likely even more I managed to get up and be wake enough and be ready to and meet up with her at Tasku. And as I had lost my hat the night before, I was walking around with my college cap for a while. I found some nice tights in Tasku. It was even half-price. Which joy. As there was the ACTA protest starting soon, we went to Raekojaplats to see what is happening there. I didn't happen to see any people I knew. Well, there were quite a lot people so it was difficult to really find anybody. We were standing there for a while (meanwhile also had met up with someone Gato knew). My shoes aren't exactly the warmest which equals my feet freezing pretty quickly. In addition, I wasn't wearing a hat either as I felt for a college cap this event wouldn't be quite appropriate. Before I made some photos though.

 Cute snowmen.
 They even had various signs.
 And were being all cool.
 'Course there were people too.

These Statues had aluminum hats again. (And that's me posing there)

Then we went to Seppäla where it was nicely warm. Felt nicer than being outside in the cold. We browsed around there a bit and I even bought a new hat (A 60% discount!). I don't need my old one any more. Heh. I wanted to get a new hat anyway. Like this I had more of a reason to actually go through with it. Otherwise I would be like "I want a new hat but the old one is perfectly wearable still..."

So I was warm and we went back to the protest. Nothing too much was going on and making our way to the front of the stage wasn't quite anything we were fancying too much. Our next plan was to go and drink some sake instead of freezing there. Back to Tasku it was. On our way we went to an other store, where I bought a wine class for one euro. Score! I was in need one and yay. It was just perfect.

Sake. Japanese restaurant. We ended up not getting sake. It was a "tad" expensive. Especially for one shot. But no, me and Gato were not about to go there and not order anything alcoholic at all. Plum wine and Sushi wine are quite the Japanese drinks too. After having a try, we decided both were also good. Plum wine was really sweet and fruity, Sushi wine was sort of dry and not as sweet but good nonetheless.

 Our drinks arrived.
 Look, look, classy, ain't it?
See, there are even ice cubes in the plum wine!
 Oh hai, that's me.

We didn't just go drinking there in broad daylight, some food was also needed. To my sushi wine I got a Noodle bento from the kiddie menu. Don't they just fit together perfectly. I ended up eating it like a child too. The fish-sticks are uber cute. RAWR!

 Noodle bento for kids.
 The food and drinks.
 Gato got herself toriyaki soba.
 The view from the place.
 It's really wonderful.

I got to talk lots with Gato at the restaurant. I was seriously happy to have met up with her today. It was also wonderful that I got so many messages from different people wishing me happy birthday and even several text messages. That was just ahhhhhh~ I am glad people remembered and bothered. *touched so much*

Afterwards we both went home. More like, I went to my dorm and cleaned up there. Took shower and had beautiful hair again. (After wearing a wig for most of the day, the hair isn't that fantastic anymore.)

I had a choice to go to a aquitance's birthday party or staying the night at Gato's. The birthday party sure would have been fun. There were a lot of people from the anime club. But as it was my birthday and I am sort of broke anyway and Gato is just so awesome and she made my day and and and. It was fun to hang around. So after I had been a bit at my dorm, my decision fell on Gato.

It took a while with the cleaning but I managed and when it was evening and dark outside I finally moved my ass outside. When walking to the bus stop and encountered these statues again. They had changed their style a tad.

 We are stylish, hell yeah!

I found the right bus just fine and got to her place just fine. I even got a slice of a swiss roll with a smal candle on it when I arrived. That was seriously sweet. And drinking lemonade from a wine class, heh. Wonderful nonetheless. And we got to talk lots again and then we were watching the Swedish prefinals of Eurovision. Ulrik Munther's song was really nice. I am rooting for him. And  then later one also drinking cider from a wine glass, pfff.

Either way, the day was a success. Everything went better than expected. And I need to dive into a new day now!

My Eventful Days Continue

I was today at an educational fair called Intellektika. Mostly I was hanging around Asashio's booth. It was quite enjoyable. Me and Karen stayed there longer than actually intended. Pffff. Actually, when going there, I was so close to missing the bus it is not even funny. Karen was waiting for me too. But I ran and got on it and thank god for Karen having bought the tickets already. And shame on me. I didn't actually quite get to which bus stop to go, pfffff.

And then there was this car at one booth. Not like a totally normal car. It was there on some stuff I don't even know what. The point is though, that the car would turn around and round and round and round. Okay, not so much really. And then it was possible to enter this car. You had to fasten your seatbelt and after it had turned over one had to actually get out of the car. It wasn't difficult really. Now I know how to nicely get out of a car when it has turned over. XDDD Ahem. It was sort of fun. I did it thrice in a row. On the first time I did think "The heck did I get myself into?" While the car was turning. "Oh Shizzles!" And when I was out: "Okies, let's do it again!" Which joy. :'D

Also, I was hanging around there in cosplay~ The only cosplayer that decided to hang around there. Boo.

And sometime soon-ish I fill go to some Valetines party. I've bought my ticket already, so it would make quite sense to be there for sometime at least.

My Day of Confusion

So Ingrid told me to write again. XDDD

But really. To start of, my first class today was English. We had it yesterday morning too. So I am there, not long before the seminar is supposed to start. I innocently enter the room and look at the people. "Huch? Aren't these like the 3rd years?" I think to myself and go out of the classroom and then I remember, on Thursday my English class is in room 113 not 103 like on Wednesdays. And then I got to the right room and the day went on.

A little but eating and showering in between. (I actually wanted to shower before going to sleep the day before but... someone was quicker than me...) I could feel my hair is beautiful again and stuff that doesn't matter. Pfff.

Either way, then comes the Introduction to the Analysis of Drama Texts. Okies, at some point in ÕIS (educational information system in English or something the likes, information database for Tartu University students pretty much) there was written, it would be in Jakobi 5 buldings auditorium. It is quite the big one. Quite weird to have a small seminar there, isn't it? It is, but I went there anyway. No one there again either. What's wrong again? Luckily, I had my laptop with me at least. Let's check if the information in ÕIS has been changed. Well, it is saying the seminar is in Ülikooli 17 in room 321 instead. Okies, that much I can handle. In a decent time I manage to find the room. The two buildings weren't too far apart from each other either. But, once again, there is no one. I take out my laptop again. Yup, it says room 321. Where the hell is everyone? Really now. In addition I am even late to class by now. Oh well, I'll manage. Along the way seeing a few other students having problems with finding classes but none are taking the same one as me anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

I decide to go back to the ground floor. The German department is there and also the library for our department and the librarian there knows various stuff about our schedules and what not. I should also mention that the German department floor is undergoing/ has undergone some renovations which is the reason for several of our classes taking place in other rooms instead than the ones they were supposed to. So the librarian tells me, the seminar is taking place in room 115. On our floor. Where I went... and where I finally had reached my destination. 15 minutes too late, mind you.

Also, there are very few students in Introduction to the Analysis of Drama Texts. Doesn't seem to be something people are very interested in. I think it is rather interesting and going through the various drama texts too.

After that I went to my dorm for a bit. There doesn't pass much time before I get a call from my substitute academical mom. She got free earlier than expected. That was very good. That would give me the chance to be on time for my Japanese class about which I had forgotten when we had agreed on a meeting time. (Give me a break, I had just asked her to be my substitute academical mom then. I was a tad nervous and forgot) We had a really nice talk. I quite enjoyed it. And the atmosphere in the café we were at was comfortable too. We talked about ourselves and some other things that shall not be written about on a blog. I had told Karen earlier (when walking to our dorms from English) that I might be late on come halfway but then I entered the Japanese classroom on time. I wasn't really late but I barely made it. And the we continued with learning hiragana. And I was feeling so sleepy. And I am still feeling sleepy. I want to go to bed almost. But then I feel like drawing. What an inner dilemma. Bleh.

That is enough for now. February will be busy. Lots of things I want to do. Places to go, people to meet.

Making Pancakes Again

This time I tried making some sort of Chinese pancakes. It was quite something to ummm... get along with the dough but it worked out somehow. I made shitloads of them. I'll be eating pancakes for the next couple of days. A bunch of them us in the fridge currently. I'll see what I make with them tomorrow.

My dinner.

It Is Sort of Cold Where I Am Right Now...

I've realized... next month is February. My birthday is in February. I will be 20. I think I may be getting old...

Art Thou Snow?

The longer I stay at my dorm the more I feel how much I actually dislike it. I really don't fancy sharing a room with me as much. And how the kitchen is. I miss being able to cook in an oven. Just... ugh... no. I'd wish to live in an apartment actually... but a decent one would cost quite a sum even when sharing with someone.

I'd also like to work. Would make affording to buy things I want more easy. And then I realize I won't be having time for that in no way coming semester. Hoping to get a job when summer comes though. That'd be nice.

Waiting for Alex to come here on summer. *dreamy sigh*
I want to go on a big con in Finland again eventually. And do cosplay. (more reasons for getting a job)
I don't have any clue yet how I will get the money to go to Finland once summer starts. Oh deary...

I could go on whining about money right now but... that would be too much. *humms*

I'll be 20 sort of soon. I am getting old...

Had three exams in the last 2 days. I know I didn't fail one of them but the other two... I don't even know, I don't even want to think about that too much. Hmmmm.
As exams are done (for now) it means I can rest properly. Sleeeeeeeep.

I am too lazy to cook anything at all today. So what do I do instead? Drink coffee. Nevermind, I don't actually like it as much. I don't have anything I could eat right away. And damn you room mate eating some snacks again as it seems. *fist shake*

This post is probably weird and all over the place. Apologies for that. Blubb.
