Nothing... interesting really...

Nothing is happening that is really worth writing, besides that I've got lots of homework and on that much time to talk to people on the Internet. Also my and Alex's schedules are both rather busy... *sighs*

Doesn't help that this week is especially busy for me as I've got lots of things to do and ah... I am just not going to go to a couple of lectures... And I need to get 17 small flower bouquets for graves. Oh the joy. The process of getting the flowers and having to pay for them (even when divided among 9 people). But showing respect to the dead is a good thing really. Not minding that and going to tidy up the graves really.

Especially with the anniversary of the organisations approaching near the end half of the week is keeping me busy with various activities. Visiting graves is one part of it. Then cleaning and also cooking and so on. And then taking part of the events. And I yet have to decide on my academical mother.

Nothing interesting happening much really. And I am not about to write too many detail of the corporation so... yeah... It keeps me busy the most really. And I know certain people are not too fond of that right now and that makes me seriously guilty but I cannot just quit my responsibilities now. I need to get more responsible anyway. And now I am just ranting.

Oh... something that has nothing to do with the corporation. I was in Võru on the weekend and visited Ingrid there too and... stuff. And I got 2 books at her place. One was from my former acting teacher and I am still not sure why I got the other book. Oh well, it is a good and interesting book either way.

Why am I even writing this when I am in a lecture...?

Whooops...

Hello There!

Woah, it is been a while again since I wrote my last entry. About time to write a new one then. I've been sort of busy with school and doing corporation stuff. Nothing all to exciting that is worth writing here though.

Ah! On Monday I had my intiation (ehk siis eestlaste mõistes retsimine). First the 3rd years had prepared an orienteering task for us where we also got to answer lots of questions. Also, we were paired up for that. An extra task was to ask random people for money and the ones that collected the most money could keep ALL the collected money. (Me and my partner also did that but we didn't get all that money... *weep* )

There were of courses cases when we didn't know the right answers and so we got a punishment. Biscuits with mustard, alcoholic drinks with tomato juice... I hate tomato juice, ugh...

Afterwards we had to present our dance/whatever to the other people that came there. My group won. :'D And then we had various games. They were fun. But I am too lazy to describe them and what happened and stuff.

Umm... otherwise... I can talk about planned stuff for this weekend.

Firstly, there is the meeting of the anime club Asashio here in Tartu. It is on Saturday and I am really waiting for that. Karen also as she joined the anime club at the same time. Wheee~

(What's with the music in the current lecture though? Pfffffff. )

On Sunday I am considering to go to the lolita meet-up. Travel expenses won't be small really but... oh well... I still want to go.

That are my plans for the weekend. Tomorrow I have a day off of everything. No classes (the teacher's are away) and nothing in the corporation and I will be just lazy on that day and watch anime and stuff and maybe go to the house of the sorority and hang out there.

That's all and my lecture has started now anyway.

An Interesting Day

Well, Monday certainly was an interesting day. I went to my classes in cosplay. The point was actually that I made a presentation about cosplay for one of my classes and wanted to be a living example as I do consider myself a cosplayer by now. Why must it be such an expensive hobby? *sob*

Talking about cosplay was lots of fun for me. I also mentioned Asashio and talked about Animatsuri. Showed some cosplay pictures. The bad ones got quite interesting reactions from others. Heh.

Like this one... I don't even... And then one of these legendary sailor moon crossplays where the guy has a beard. Of course I had the original images of the series next to the cosplay pictures so that the people can actually compare the similarities.

It was really wonderful that the people there asked questions too. I was happy to asnwer them. Like seriously... I noticed I like talking about cosplay, heh. Obvious questions like isn't it expensive. Wondering why I decided to be a cosplayer. And some other things that amused me but have forgotten by now.

Later on when I decided to be too lazy to take off my top hat and wig, I kept on walking around stores with them as I had to go and buy myself finally some trousers. I found a pair, which also work fine for wearing with the corporation cap. Their quite decent really. BUT, the usual problem I have with sort of fitting trousers, they are too long. And I don't have the right sewing stuff here to correct that.

University life is nice. I am getting more used to it. Also slowly starting to get used to corporation life. I am still in need of an academical mother though. And tomorrow there is an event in my corporation so going to be helping out there and not knowing when I will be able to get home to my bed.

And... I can't think of anything else. So to conclude this blog post, there is a translation of some song's lyrics into Estonian by Kaili. (Part of the song's lyrics, I assume)

Ma teeks sinu jaoks kõike, näiteks...

mul ei tule midagi meelde.

Ma kannaks sind kätel, aga sa oled liiga raske.

Teeks sulle roosidest voodi,

aga see oleks liiga kallis ja pealegi ei meeliks see sulle
